  1. Co-founder and secretary (1991-1993) of "De Kleine Kring" (The Small Circle), a network of young Dutch political theorists and philosophers with regular meetings.
  2. Organization of an international seminar on Green Politics and a meeting of the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR) Standing Group on Green Politics (University of Nijmegen, 1992, together with Masja Nas).
  3. Organization of an international conference in connection with the 25th anniversary of the Department of Political Science (University of Nijmegen, 1994).
  4. Organization of the 1995 Summer School in Nijmegen for the national research school for political science and international affairs, Polybios.
